Quick quick SLOW
We start 2016 on Talking Walking, with an interview with Cluadia Zieske, founding Director of The Walking Institute who entices you to join her on a "Slow Marathon" across the rural landscapes of Aberdeenshire.
Claudia came to this area of Scotland and pursued 'munro bagging' but has since tempered her challenges to more walks on the level. She founded community arts group Deveron Arts, which has made the town of Huntly, it's home and head quarters - the town is the venue for many enterprising and internationally acclaimed walking initiatives.
The 'Slow Marathon' route is devised by a guest artist and participants are encouraged to explore themes and the local area through the lens of that artist.
