Smart City - Smart Citizens? Experiment in mobile codesign

A walkshop - a workshop on foot - on the Greenwich Peninsula, 10.00am - 11.30am Thursday 21 April, meet at North Greenwich tube station. Facilitated by Dr Sara Jones, Senior Lecturer, Creative Interactive System Design at Cass Business School, City University and Andrew Stuck, Founding Director of Rethinking Cities.

The plan is to share knowledge and generate ideas for apps that can help us understand more about the neighbourhoods, places, and streets we will be passing through. Our aim is to enable the citizens who live in our increasingly smart cities, to themselves become 'smarter', and more engaged, for example by contributing ideas to the shaping of their environments.

This event is FREE - to book please follow this link

Discussion and development of the ideas we uncover will continue that afternoon at the ICLCity2016 Conference - Innovation, Creativity and Leadership - Research and Practice (workshop C). If you wish to attend the conference workshop in the afternoon, as well as the morning's walkshop, please note that you would need to register separately for the conference, and that there will be a nominal £10 registration fee for this.

If you can't attend in person but want to be involved on-line, please register your interest by adding details of your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or other social media information where indicated.
