Greening the grey makes us healthier
Being surrounded by drab buildings and streets gets us all down, and the latest research shows that even a little patch of green can makes us smile, feel better and calm. Rethinking Cities hosts its tenth Talk the Walk networking and showcase event on Wednesday 3 November from 5.00pm - 7.30pm at the Central Library in Bromley. This event is co-hosted the London Borough of Bromley's Parks and Greenspace Team who have received national acclaim for their innovative "Greening the Grey" initiative. Join community leaders and professionals in gardening, housing, landscape, nutrition, parks, and public health.
How can we ensure that the message that our green spaces contribute to healthier communities is heard by politicians and the wider public? Join us to Talk the Walk to answer this challenge. Find out more about Talk the Walk here and follow the link below to register for the event on the 3 November.
